Jesus loves and prays for his enemies to choose life.Jesus loves his enemies, cares for their souls, and desires to forgive them of their sins if they’ll turn to him with their whole heart.
Jesus actually loves and cares for Hitler, Stalin, Muhammad, and the most horrible criminals and wretched sinners and cheif of sinners who brought much damage and pain and chaos to this world and harmed many living souls. Jesus hates all the evil these people have done or do to humanity and he was angry with them daily for all the wickedness and pain they caused other people to feel and to go through in this life but he still loved them and cared for their souls and HIS will was to see them REPENT and cry out to him with ALL of their heart so that he may forgive them and help other hearts forgive them which would have helped bring so much healing and restoration but they did not repent and most people today are still choosing not to forgive and not to repent and it breaks his heart and that is the main reason you see all the pain and the damage and chaos in this world because most of humanity have chosen and continue to choose daily not to repent and hence not to forgive and the sane cycle of insanity goes on and on from generation to generation over the years. Jesus wants to break that cycle of insanity and he can’t do that unless a heart repents and chooses to follow (obey him/his heart/law/commands that are all for the purpose and of the motive of love) and sadly so few choose to repent. If you don’t repent you can’t fully and truly understand what it means to forgive and to love with the love of Christ because he IS forgiveness and he is the voice calling every heart to repent and to turn to him to experience and learn of his forgiveness so that they too can go and forgive others who have hurt them and love them with the selfless and long suffering love of Christ that forgives, loves, and prays for their enemies.
Jesus said-
Again, when the wicked man turneth away
from his wickedness that he hath committed,
and doeth that which is lawful and right, he shall
save his soul alive.
28 Because he considereth, and turneth away
from all his transgressions that he hath
committed, he shall surely live, he shall not die.
29 Yet saith the house of Israel, The way of the
LORD is not equal. O house of Israel, are not my
ways equal? are not your ways unequal?
30 Therefore I will judge you, O house of Israel,
every one according to his ways, saith the Lord
GOD. Repent, and turn yourselves from all your
transgressions; so iniquity shall not be your ruin.
31 Cast away from you all your transgressions,
whereby ye have transgressed; and make you a
new heart and a new spirit: for why will ye die,
O house of Israel?
32 For I have no pleasure in the death of him
that dieth, saith the Lord GOD: wherefore turn
yourselves, and live ye. (Ezekiel 18:27-32)
